Thank you for your confidence in Dr. Lui and in our practice. We feel that you have made an excellent choice in a pediatrician. Dr. Lui is a board-certified pediatrician and fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics with over 15 years of experience in both outpatient and inpatient pediatrics.
Dr. Lui graduated from the University of South Carolina School of Medicine and received her residency training from the University of Louisville at Kosair Children’s Hospital (ranked as 1 of the top 10 children’s hospital in the country). She has been in practice in Albuquerque for the last 15 years.
We have two offices to serve our patients, in Albuquerque and in Edgewood. Our primary office is at 3846 Masthead NE. Our office is open Monday through Friday 8 am-5 pm, with late afternoon/evening hours on Thursdays. Dr. Lui is in the Edgewood office on Tuesdays. We accept patients from birth to 18 years of age. Dr. Lui evaluates pediatric patients for well child checkups, sports and camp physicals, as well as for illnesses. After hours, Dr. Lui is available for urgent questions and problems. She is one of the few pediatricians in town who still remains accessible to her patients at all times. Patients may speak to her directly rather than to nurses in triage systems.
Despite the trend in today’s medicine for physicians to practice either in the hospital or in the office, Dr. Lui is credentialed to care for patients in the hospital as well as in the office, keeping in the tradition of the “old school” while keeping abreast of the latest advancements in pediatric medical practices of the “new school”. This is a unique privilege that Dr. Lui has actively maintained.
Dr. Lui advocates and adheres to the high standards of care set forth by the American Academy of Pediatrics. This includes immunizations. Being a Doctor of Oriental Medicine, she is not only very much aware of the balance between kids and nature, but also better qualified to know the real and practical necessity of immunizations.
As a parent herself, Dr. Lui has a working philosophy of treating your children as she would her own, recommending to them only the highest standards and quality of care.
