- Jane Iredale--The Skin Care Makeup. Jane Iredale offers a full-line of mineral-based makeup that is the choice of physicians, and integral to any medical spa. It is non-comedogenic with virtually no allergy risk. It provides broad spectrum UVB & UVA (tested as High) protection against the sun. In fact, the Skin Cancer Foundation has recently awarded the Seal of Recommendation to 5* of Jane Iredale's top products as effective UV sunscreen! Jane Iredale cosmetics contains botanicals and natural ingredients that are anti-inflammatory, to calm and soothe irritated skin. It is so comforting that it can be used after any procedure (chemical peels, laser resurfacing, etc.). It has been rated "very water resistent" by an FDA-approved lab, so that it won't crease or smear, even during the most strenuous exercise. It contains concentrated pigments from micronized minerals to provide the most complete coverage for skin conditions such as acne, rosacea, redness, or bruising from any aesthetic procedure. Its staying power is so great that one rarely needs to it touch up during the day. Jane Iredale makeup does not contain talc or parabens, and thus is not carcinogenic.
